Sometime things get to us more then we realize. These are the times when we typically end up saying or doing things we don't mean to people we care about. It is important that we take time to check in with ourselves to see if we need to step back from something in life.
-When you take things personally.
-When you react instead of respond.
-When you misdirect anger.
-When you are annoyed over minor things.
-When you stop taking care of yourself first.
-When you struggle to stay present.
-When you judge yourself harshly.
-When you check out mentally.
-When you "what if" things.
Take a step back. Take advantage of some healthy alone time to unwind. Things like journaling, taking a long walk, visiting with a loved one, or focusing on self-care can go a long way.
