- Take care of yourself mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
- Keep a journal to track progress, goals, things you want to try, and ideas to put into practice.
- Make a list of what you like/ love about yourself.
- Make a list of what you don't like about yourself. Accept the ones you can't fix and work on the rest.
- Pay attention to self-talk. If you would not say it to a friend don't say it to yourself.
- Recognize you are enough. Right now, you are enough.
- You are who you need to be right now. We grow at different rates and in different ways. Don't compare yourself to others.
- Get some fresh air, sunlight, and human interaction with a loved one. Take a break from social media and the phone.
- Keep a gratitude journal. It's a great way to stay thankful for what you have.
- Help others. Doing good for others gives us a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
