Art, Music, Exercise, Cooking, are some ideas of things that are positive outlets. Distractions for when you are not doing well.
I make more time for myself when I am not doing well, so I do not get worse. By doing so I am more likely to start feeling better. I feel connected when I am doing artwork or writing. Those are two of my happy places for bad days.
I love to cook & recently have just been preparing meals just for myself & filling my freeze. I have felt so good in preparing meals with love & delivering to family & friends jus because I can & that makes my heart happy. The kind words & “reviews” from them lift my heart 💜
I also visited Mentor Rocks all by myself on Tuesday & I’m pretty darn proud of myself. No anxiousness total confidence & even asked a stranger for help in securing my chai…..BIG baby steps 💜
