When you realize it is not your responsibility to change or fix others, but instead...
that you, and only you, are responsible for your own actions, behaviors, words, your effort, and the consequences of your actions. When you truly realize this, it is so freeing.
I understand sometimes we need to act or react to a circumstance, but you are still responsible for your actions.
It is also a great reminder that we have choices and that we are responsible for those choices.
You are where you put yourself.
You are stronger than you know.
When I was going through the worst of my stuff, I mimic the toxic and bad behavior around me at times. When I learned that was not healthy, I stopped those behaviors. As I have grown into my own person, I have decided to become the person I have always needed.
